The Simrad I3007 instrument series offers a superior 7-inch color display with simple touch control, various graphical layouts and the ability to activate up to eight different functions simultaneously. The I3007 is IMO approved as a rudder angle indicator, heading repeater, turn rate indicator (I3007 only), propeller pitch indicator and propeller revolution indicator, and monitors other functions such as engine speed, wind instruments, digital data thruster propeller pitch angle, and boat speed. Offering a flexible installation that supports different types of I/O signals, the display is approved for SOLAS vessels.

The IS300 series has the ability to simultaneously activate the following:
- Heading repeater: IMO approved when combined with NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183 or LWE heading sensors, such as Simrad GPS and Gyro Compasses
- Rudder Indicator: IMO approved when usedis connected to an autopilot system with optional rudder demand display. Reading rudder positions from all Simrad rudder feedback or compatible with NMEA 0183 feedback from other third party systems.
- Turn Rate Indicator: IMO approved 7" and 5" non-OMI ROT with configurable scale and is compatible with Simrad, HS60/70/80, Simrad Gyros GS80/85 GPS compasses and Simrad Precision-9, RC-42 magnetic compasses
- Pitch indicator Configurable propeller for use with propulsion and thruster (Note: transducer/sensor not offered by Navico)
- Propeller shaft speed: IMO compliant with selectable scaling range ( Note: Transducer/Sensor not offered by Navico)
- Engine RPM gauge with selectable scale range of 200 to 10,000 (Note: Transducer/Sensor not offered by Navico)
- Wind instrument: measurementtrue wind speed and angle, apparent wind speed and angle, Beaufort wind speed indicator with selectable orientations (relative to North or to the bow of ships). Compatible with Simrad and B&G sensors or any NMEA 2000 or NMEA 0183 wind sensor.
- Digital Data: Layout of data for display or a multitude of data types; Vessel, environment, navigation, engine, depth, speed, heave, pitch, roll, time and date
