The Victron Energy Quattro inverter/charger has 2 AC inputs with a transfer switch, 2 AC outputs, a unique PowerAssist function and virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation. Models range from 3kVA to 15kVA per module.

Similar to the MultiPlus, the Quattro is also a combined inverter and charger. Additionally, it can accept two AC inputs and automatically connect to the active source. Its many features include a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, PowerAssist hybrid technology as well as several system integration features such as three-phase or split operation and parallel operation.

Two AC inputs with integrated transfer switch

The Victron Energy Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example, a power supplyone at the dock and one generator, or two generators. The Quattro will automatically connect to the active source.

Two AC outputs

The main output has uninterrupted functionality. In the event of a grid outage or disconnection of shore power or generator, the Victron Quattro takes over powering the connected loads. This happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without interruption. The second output is active only when AC power is available on one of the Quattro's inputs. Loads that should not drain the battery, such as air conditioning or a water heater, can be connected to this output.

Unique PowerAssist function

The Victron Energy Quattro will prevent overloading a limited AC source. First, the battery charge will be automatically reduced,otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will increase the efficiency of a generator or shore power using energy from the battery.

Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation

Up to 6 Victron Quattros can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible.
