NGW-1-ISO-AIS is the NMEA 0183 AIS option. This is a pre-configured version of the NGW-1-ISO standard which allows conversion of AIS NMEA 0183 data to its NMEA 2000 equivalent. This provides a 'plug and play' solution for quick installation with no configuration required . The Actisense NGW-1 NMEA 2000 Gateway is the easiest way to bridge old and new data network of a boat. The NGW-1 can convert NMEA 0183 data to NMEA 2000 data and vice versa.
With the advanced configuration software provided, it is simple to set the required data conversions in either direction.
