The high band operates over a frequency range of 150 to 250 kHz and has a fixed 25° beam for all frequencies. The high frequency band allows higher resolution. The top wide is the ideal choice for inshore and pelagic fishing, where resolution andMaximum coverage under the boat is essential up to 500'.

Tilted element transducers have the element attached at an angle of 20°, 12° or 0° within the transducer housing. Since the transducer is installed almost flush with the hull, when the transducer is installed, the tilt corrects the dead center of the hull and orients the ceramic element horizontally to ensure maximum echo and turns toward the transducer.
