A pressure gauge works by sending a low amperage current through the gauge's meter to ground via a variable resistance sending unit The resistance of the units d. The sending increases or decreases with changes in pressure, temperature, etc...

As the resistance of the emitter varies, the amount of current allowed to pass through it to ground changes and the meter deflects, showing the change in pressure.

Illuminated Black Dial by perimeter with bold white graphics, black aluminum bezel, contoured white pointer and flat glass lens.
