White edge-lit dial with bold black graphics, Black aluminum bezel, contoured white pointer and flat glass lens.

Electronic tachometers operate by counting pulses generated by the ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator or magnetic sensor transmitter. The tachometer is connected to +12V DC, ground, and one of the two. the signal sources listed.

By selecting the correct tachometer and setting the switch on the back to the correct position, you tell the tachometer how many pulses are sent for each revolution of the engine.
