All Platinum Series gauges feature Faria's revolutionary anti-fog domed glass lenses. scratching and other types of fouling common in the marine environment.
A pressure gauge works by sending a low amperage current through the gauge meter to earth via a d unit. Variable resistance sending The resistance of the sending units increases or decreases with changes in pressure, temperature, etc.
As the resistance of the sender varies, so does the amount of current. allowed to pass through it until the earth changes and the meter deviates, showing the change in pressuren.

All Platinum Series gauges feature Faria's revolutionary anti-fog curved glass lens. These lenses eliminate condensation and resist scratches and other types of fouling common in the marine environment.
A pressure gauge works by sending a low amperage current through the gauge's meter to ground via a variable resistance sending unit. The resistance of the emitter units increases or decreases with changes in pressure, temperature, etc...
As the resistance of the emitter varies, the amount of current allowed to pass through it up to the earth changs and the meter deviates. , showing the change in pressure.
