The Icom M510BB is perfect for boats that need AIS reception functionality without taking up valuable pilotage space. The supplied CommandMic™ provides all safety and communication functions for commercial and recreational boaters.

The M510BB consists of a CommandMic™ and a black box RF unit. Use the CommandMic™ for all operations, including DSC. Mount the RF unit out of sight, position it up to 60 feet (18.3 m)* from the CommandMic™.

Add up to two additional CommandMic™ microphones for boats requiring two or three communication stations. Extend communication points around the boat, including the cockpit, flybridge and tower. Access intercom functions for one-on-one or one-on-one communications on the boat.

The M510BB includes an AIS receiverintegrated, perfect for remote station information via the CommandMic™, or integrated with the NMEA 2000 Bus to display radar and chartplotter information on an MFD (multi-function display).

In addition to the button DSC conveniently located on the back of each CommandMic™, the M510BB introduces a dedicated DSC remote control (EN 300 338-8 compatible). terminal, allowing connection to an external device to centralize control of emergency communications.

The M510BB has a last call voice recording function that automatically records up to two minutes of an incoming call.

The NMEA 2000 network provides plug-and-play data communication to interconnect other marine equipment such as an MFD (multi-function display). The radio can send AIS position, GNSS (GPS), DSC call and radio channels to other equipment.

On the back of each CommandMic™ is a conveniently located DSC button. Once dtriggered, the M510BB transmits a DSC alert signal to nearby vessels with the MMSI* and GPS location of your vessel. *MMSI number must be obtained and programmed for each vessel/radio.

Built-in 15W amplifier increases audio output from an external speaker. The RX one-way hailer feature allows you to broadcast radio traffic through the hailer speaker to listen to radio traffic on the bridge or tower. You can also emit foghorn signals from the bullhorn speaker.

The active noise cancellation feature digitally removes background noise from audio transmission and reception to provide clear communications in noisy maritime environments.
