Insta-Trim Trim Tab Kit 18" x 11"Insta-Trim, the original hydraulic boat leveler, delivers a better ride every time you leave the dock. Each Insta-Trim system includes:
Wiring: Color-coded wiring in 25' and 40' lengths with quick-connect fittings, meets federal standards for heat, traction and insulation.
Solenoid: Our solenoids are custom designed for the Insta-Trim Boat Leveler Company, epoxy sealed and moisture resistant, preventing short circuits. The solenoids lock the tabs in any position, eliminating kickback. Barbed-style hose fittings provide tight, secure connections.
Motor: A powerhouse with coated wiring that resists temperature and amperage buildup. 1 3/4" battery windings and top mounteliminate oil leaks. The motor is mounted with stainless steel nuts and bolts and is easily disassembled. One quart of Insta-Trim biodegradable transmission oil, funnel and mounting hardware are provided.
Pump: Designed and engineered exclusively by Insta-Trim. The built-in bypass is factory set at 400 P.S.I. Tolerance maintained at +/-.00025. The amperage does not exceed 16 because the unit circulates the oil, rather than stalling or trying to pump extra pressure.
Mounts: Type mounts Swivel allow cylinders to be mounted and adjusted to any angle. Knockout pins act as shear pins if the tab strikes an object.
Cylinders: Impact-resistant, fiberglass-reinforced nylon cylinders eliminate expansion and resist damage ultraviolet rays. Two expanding type seals and O-rings eliminate leaks at highe and low pressure. Barbed barrel fitting and inserted tubular steel rod prevent the hose from flying away and breaking. A stainless steel spring retracts the cylinder when the boat is not in motion.
Stainless Steel Trim Tabs: 12 gauge 304 stainless steel trim tabs are available in standard and custom lengths. They are guaranteed against electrolysis, remaining strong and secure. Insta-trim systems use hinges that prevent most splashing and can be used for transom or bottom mounting.
Engine cover: The impact-resistant ABS plastic cover with an integrated oil tank mounts easily with two screws. Our cover protects the engine from occasional washes.
Hose: Designed and manufactured exclusively for Insta-Trim with reinforced nylon webbing and durable coatingto UV. Rated at 2000 pounds. Burst pressure, 15; Hose is provided for your system. Stainless steel clamps hold the hose to the barb fittings at the solenoids and at the cylinder connection.
Rocker controls: Dash-mounted, they are easy to use.
Optional waterproof touch button switches: Adjust the tabs for maximum control and performance. 3" diameter.
An adjustable pressure relief valve is provided on the bypass valve of the general electric pump-pump, so that the fluid can circulate, so that the pump does not thermally overload all the accessories of the #12.pump due to thermal overload
