The ingeniously designed cable/chain sprocket (chain wheel) is capable of accommodating a wide range of chain pitch differences in diameters specified chain sizes, suitable for use with the RC8 series.
Sleek, low profile and MAX handle capstan drum versions are available to suit each user's preferences.
Simple two-piece installation saves time and money and allows for easy leveling without disassembly of the windlass.
Unique spacer tube design allows for easy installation on virtually any deck thickness and the multiple mounting positions and self-aligning gearbox ensure optimal gearbox locatione speeds and motor in virtually all installation situations.
Full ability to remove upper elements using the handle provided. , screwdriver and Allen key.
The RC8 series is made from marine grade 316 stainless steel for long term durability. The heavy-duty stainless steel pressure arm is designed to help grip the cable/chain splice effectively, giving the RC8 an unrivaled level of performance.
In combination with a heavy-duty, large diameter wire, a Spring loaded stainless steel pre-arm, the pressure arm always exerts maximum control pressure.
The RC8 works just as effectively with chain rods for those who desire a low profile, low profile windlass elegant style on their foredeck.
The huge throat of the hawse pipe passing through the deck ensures easy entry of the rope/chain in and out of the anchor well.
