SystemPods for power are for mounting on a kit Stachion SK135 can be used to mount a SystemPod on a flat surface, such as the flybridge. Stachion kits can also be used with a SystemPod for overhead mounting applications.

The high gloss material
Thes NavPods are made with custom co-extruded acrylic coated ABS material. We use the best UV resistant material that provides a high gloss white finish that matches the gel coated fiberglass. Gen3 improvements now include thicker material that improves strength and provides better structural rigidity.

Waterproof seal
All NavPods are made with a double seal system providing an excellent waterproof seal between the front and back of the NavPod for protection of your marine electronics. NavPods are designed to withstand the harshest and wettest offshore sailing conditions. Gen3 improvements include a thicker silicone outer gasket with an improved flush fit. The internal EPDM gasket is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "set compression" like many rubber compounds. This is important when you need toopen the NavPod in the future to service your electronic devices.

Nickel-chrome plated screws
We use all stainless steel mounting hardware that comes with every NavPod. Large Round Head Tamper Proof Screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod Key for better holding ability when tightening than previous screws. For Gen3 we supply Nickel-Chrome Plated Stainless Steel Tamper Proof Screws for added security combined with a little bling!

The manufacturing process
Large gauge thermoforming is considered an art since many processes come into play. It all starts with the design and the tool development. We are fortunate to have experienced in-house design engineers who use CAD programs such as Solidworks, Catia and AutoCad. Surfcam is used to interface with our CNC machining centers to produce toolsquality ls with precision tolerances.
