SailPods are intended for mounting a single radar or chartplotter to the bar. Navigation at your fingertips. "Where you need it…when you need it." Sail Pods are the smart solution for mounting your radar or chartplotter to the helm where you can easily operate it and clearly see small details on the screen. NavPods have a high-gloss finish, giving you a clean mounting solution while hiding unsightly wires. Nickel-chrome plated tamper-resistant screws provide a little bling and a lot of security. Designed with a double-seal waterproof seal, NavPods protect your electronic devices from the harshest and wettest offshore sailing conditions. It is best to mount a SailPod on a single bend AngleGuard or use a double bend AngleGuard to mount an InstrumentPod on the stop vertical section and a SailPod below on the angled section.

Structural Rigidity
Gen3 improvements now include a thicker gauge acrylic cap.Ed ABS material that improves resistance and offers better structural rigidity. This thicker material allows for greater sealing. The higher the structural rigidity, the less flex there is when tightening and the more uniform the pressure on the joint. The excellent UV stability of acrylic is combined with the durability of ABS. The acrylic cap protects the ABS from UV and its potentially harmful effects on plastic. These NavPods are really strong!

Waterproof seal
All NavPods are made with a double seal system providing an excellent seal between the front and back of the NavPod. This seal offers the best protection for your marine electronics. NavPods are built to lastfor the most difficult and wet offshore sailing conditions. Gen3 improvements include a thicker silicone outer gasket with an improved flush fit. The internal Poran Microcell polyurethane seal is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "compression" like many rubber compounds. This is important when you need to open the NavPod in the future to repair your electronic devices. The seal will continue to do its job.

Chrome Nickel Plated Stainless Steel
We use all 316 stainless steel hardware that comes with every NavPod. Large round head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for better holding power when tightening than the screws used on our traditional series NavPod. For NavPods Gen3, we provide tamper-resistant nickel-chrome-plated stainless steel screws for added security combined with a bit ofbling!
