PowerPods are designed for serious boaters who blast offshore. He demands the most from his boat and its electronics. It needs strong, sturdy support to protect vital electronic components from the harshest offshore navigation conditions. Rugged and secure, yet clean and attractive, PowerPods are better than rack mounting. Over 70 pre-cut PowerPods are available for all products from popular manufacturers. The 1.8" opening in the swivel tube provides plenty of room to pass through wires and connectors. PowerPods are positioned at a 20-degree tilt-back viewing angle.

PowerPods for Sail are intended to be mounted on a flat surface Perhaps under the Dodger or aft end of the cockpit table, particularly on twin wheel boats.

The m.High Gloss Material
NavPods are made with custom co-extruded ABS material with acrylic cap. We use the best UV resistant material that offers a very high gloss white finish that matches gel coated fiberglass. Gen3 improvements now include thicker material that improves strength and provides better structural rigidity.

Waterproof seal
All NavPods are made with a double seal system providing an excellent waterproof seal between the front and back of the NavPod for protection of your marine electronics. NavPods are designed to withstand the harshest and wettest offshore sailing conditions. Gen3 improvements include a thicker silicone outer gasket with an improved flush fit. The internal EPDM gasket is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "defined compression" like many rubber compoundschuck. This is important when you need to open the NavPod in the future to service your electronic devices.

Nickel-chrome plated screws
We use all steel mounting hardware stainless steel supplied with each NavPod. Large round head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for a better hold on the ab.easier when tightening than previous screws. For Gen3 we provide nickel-chrome plated stainless steel tamper proof screws for added security combined with a little bling!

The manufacturing process
Heavy gauge thermoforming is considered an art since many processes come into play. It all starts with the design and development of tooling. We are fortunate to have experienced in-house design engineers who use CAD programs such as Solidworks, Catia and AutoCad. Surfcam is used to interfacewith our CNC machining centers to produce quality tools with precision tolerances.
