Designed specifically for high-torque, high-vibration applications, such as those common in imported engines, this premium RTV gasket manufacturer exceeds the manufacturer's performance requirements. Safe for sensors, low odor and non-corrosive. Maximum vibration resistance, with exceptional resistance to oils, coolants and workshop fluids. Guaranteed against leaks. Temperature range -65°F to 500°F (-54°C to 260°C) intermittently.

Applications:

Automotive - Suggested Applications: Valve covers, oil pans and timing covers.

Marine - Suggested Applications: Valve Covers, Oil Pans, Intake Manifold End Gaskets, Timing Covers, Water Pumps, Thermostat Housings

Instructions:

For best results, clean and dry all surfaces with a residue-free solvent, such as Permatex Brake & Parts Cleaner. Cut the nozzle to the desired opening and insert it into a standard caulking gun - joints aIt is best formed using a 1/16" to 1/4" (2 to 6 mm) bead. Apply a continuous, even bead of silicone to a surface; circle all bolt holes. Assemble the parts immediately. Tighten the bolts by hand until material begins to escape around the flange. Leave to dry for an hour then tighten 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Silicone dries in 1 hour and fully cures in 24 hours. Allow extra time in cold or very dry conditions. Clean hands with a dry cloth or Permatex Fast Orange hand cleaner. Clean tools with non-flammable cleaning fluid.

NOTE: Not recommended for use on jointsts of cylinder head or parts in contact with gasoline.
