The timed flush cycle brings in water, then flushes, then water again and flushes for minimal water consumption ande less effective in evacuating waste from toilets.

Water only - adds additional water to the bowl without emptying the contents of the bowl. Allows the user to wet the bowl before use or fill the bowl to a certain level to minimize water consumption.
