SP-120 System with Rudder Feedback and Remote Mechanical Drive - Inboard Engines

The SP-120 Autopilot Control System includes the following units:

SP-120 display and control head
9-axis SI-TEX compass
Display unit steering feedback (SP-120R only)

In addition, the SP-120 must be connected to a drive unit that controls the rudder actuator system in order to complete the system full autopilot. The actuator system provides physical movement to the rudder in response to the direction of control signals provided by the SP-120.

A rudder actuator system includes one of the following:

Hydraulic system with helm pump and cylinder
Mechanical steering system

The autopilot must be connected to one of the following:

Reversing motor/pump assembly connected to the existing hydraulic system. steering system
Connection of mechanical reversing drive unit connected to existing steering mechanism
Electronic hydraulic solenoid valves
