GP2050 series for 12" guard, the SailPods are intended for mounting a single radar or plotter maps to the bar where you can operate easily and clearly see the fine details of the screen. It is best to mount a single SailPod on single curvature AngleGuards or use double curvature AngleGuards to mount an InstrumentPod on the top vertical section and a SailPod below on the inclined section.

SailPod for Power is intended for mounting on a Stachion SK135. The kit can be used to mount a SailPod on a flat surface, such as the flybridge. Stachion kits can also be used with a SailPod for high-mount applications.

High-gloss material
NavPods are made with a custom co-extruded ABS material with acrylic cap. We use the best maUV resistant material that provides a high gloss white finish that matches gel coated fiberglass. Gen3 improvements now include thicker gauge material that improves strength and provides better structural rigidity.

The waterproof seal
All NavPods are made with a system double seal providing excellent sealing between the front and back of the NavPod to protect your marine electronics. NavPods are designed to withstand the harshest and wettest offshore sailing conditions. Gen3 improvements include a thicker silicone outer gasket with an improved flush fit. The internal EPDM gasket is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "set compression" like many rubber compounds. This is important when you need to open the NavPod in the future to service your electronic devices.

Nicke plated screwsl-chrome
We use all stainless steel mounting hardware that comes with every NavPod. Large round head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for better holding power when tightening than previous screws. For Gen3, we supply nickel-chrome plated stainless steel tamper-proof screws for a combination of security with a little bling!

The manufacturing process
Heavy gauge thermoforming is considered an art since many processes come into play. It all starts with tooling design and development. We are fortunate to have experienced in-house design engineers who use CAD programs such as Solidworks, Catia and AutoCad. Surfcam is used to interface with our CNC machining centers to produce quality tools with precision tolerances.
