PP5050 series, PowerPods for the PowerPods are a better option than stand mounting. PowerPods offer a sleek look for flush mounting with the benefit of a swivel base.

The trunnion stand that comes with most electronic devices does not. It doesn't have the benefit of protecting the back of the electronics from salt water spray. Most manufacturers do an excellent job of protecting the screen face from water intrusion with it. sealed rubber push buttons They expect you to flush it into the console or a NavPod. The PowerPod also protects the plastic connectors and wires from deterioration caused by prolonged UV exposure. br>
The PowerPods for Sail are intended to be mounted on a flat surface, perhaps sous the cowling or at the rear of the cockpit table. especially on dual wheel boats.

High gloss material

NavPods are made with co-extruded acrylic coated ABS material on measure. We use the best UV resistant material that provides a high gloss white finish that matches gel coated fiberglass. Gen3 improvements now include thicker material that improves strength and provides better structural rigidity.

The watertight seal

All NavPods are manufactured with a double seal system providing an excellent seal between the front and back of the NavPod for the protection of your marine electronics. NavPods are designed to withstand the harshest and wettest offshore sailing conditions. Gen3 improvements include a thicker silicone outer gasket with an improved flush fit. The EPDM internal sealis now 50% thicker and is not subject to "defined compression" like many rubber compounds. This is important when you need to open the NavPod in the future to repair your electronic devices.

Chrome-plated nickel screws

We use all stainless steel mounting hardware that comes with every NavPod. Large round head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for better holding power when tightening than previous screws. For Gen3 we provide nickel-chrome plated stainless steel tamper proof screws for added security combined with a little bling!

Large gauge thermoforming is considered an art since many processes come into play. It all starts with the design and development of the tooling. Surfcam is used to interface with our CNC machining centers to produce quality tools with precision tolerances.
