RailMount NavPods are best used for mounting an autopilot control, navigation instrument or 'a small chartplotter on an existing base protection. Fits any 1" or 1.25" diameter tube. A chrome-plated stainless steel arm is used to mount a NavPod. The NavPod can rotate 180 degrees for easy viewing when sitting under the vehicle on a rainy day. All cables run from the NavPod down the center of the stainless steel arm and into the cradle guard. This application provides a clean, sturdy installation for electronics, without replacing the base guard.

High gloss material

NavPods are made with a Custom co-extruded acrylic Coated ABS material. We use the best UV resistant material that provides a high gloss white finish that matches gel coated fiberglass. Gen3 improvements now include thicker material that improves strength and provides better structural rigidity.

The waterproof seal

All NavPods are made with a double seal system providing an excellent seal between the front and back of the NavPod for protection. of your marine electronics. Large gauge thermoforming is considered an art since many pprocesses come into play. It all starts with the design and development of the tooling. We are fortunate to have experienced in-house design engineers who use CAD programs such as Solidworks, Catia and AutoCad. Surfcam is used to interface with our CNC machining centers to produce quality tools with precision tolerances. We've redesigned and revamped all the popular NavPods. We have reviewed all the old products and selected the best design elements from each and incorporated them into each new Gen3 product.
