Designed specifically for high-torque, high-vibration applications, such as those common in imported engines, this premium RTV gasket manufacturer exceeds the manufacturer's performance requirements. Safe for sensors, low odor and non-corrosive. Maximum vibration resistance, with exceptional resistance to oils, coolants and workshop fluids. Guaranteed against leaks. Temperature range -65°F to 500°F (-54°C to 260°C) intermittently.

Applications:

Automotive - Suggested Applications: Valve Covers, Oil Pans and Timing Covers.
Marine - Suggested Applications: Valve Covers, Oil Pans, Intake Manifold End Gaskets, Timing Covers, Water Pumps, Thermostat Housings

IInstructions:

Surfaces must be clean and dry. Activate PowerBead™ by turning the nozzle one full turn counterclockwise, lifting the trigger. Pull the trigger to dispense. Apply a continuous, even layer of 1/16" o 1/4" bead of silicone surrounding all bolt holes. 1/8" is suitable for most applications. Bead size may vary depending on finger pressure, how quickly the applicator is moved, and angle. For heavier beads, the nozzle can be cut to size. Assemble the parts immediately. Tighten the bolts by hand until material begins to escape around the flange. Leave to dry for 1 hour then tighten 1/4 to 1/2 turn. The silicone will fully cure in 24 hours. After use, store the applicator by turning the nozzle clockwise, wiping off excess silicone and replacing the caplastic cap with a "click".

NOTE: Not recommended for use on head gaskets or parts in contact with gasoline.
