Structural Rigidity – Gen3 enhancements now include thicker gauge acrylic coated ABS material which improves strength and provides better structural rigidity. The internal Poron Microcell polyurethane gasket is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "compression" like many rubber compounds. Nickel-plated, chrome-plated stainless steel– We use all 316 stainless steel hardware that comes with every NavPod. Large round head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for better holding power when tightening than the screws used on our traditional Nav Series Pod. For NavPods Gen3, we provide tamper-resistant nickel-chrome-plated stainless steel screws for added security combined with a bit of style!
