The Blue Smart IP22 charger is the professional battery charger with integrated Bluetooth. The Blue Smart IP22 charger can be used on devices in your workshop and on motor vehicles, such as (conventional) cars; motorcycles; boats and motorhomes.

The Blue Smart IP22 charger is the wireless solution for monitoring voltage and current, changing settings and update the charger when new features are available.

High efficiency

With up to 94% efficiency, these chargers generate up to 'at four times less heat compared to the industry standard. And once the battery is fully charged, the power consumption is reduced to 0.5 Watt, five to ten times better than the industry standard.

6-step adaptive charging algorithm:test - volume - absorption - reconditioning – floating – storage

The Blue Smart Charger features microprocess controlled or controlled "adaptive" battery management. The adaptive function will automatically optimize the charging process in relation to how the battery is used.

Storage mode: less maintenance and aging when the battery is not used

Storage mode comes into play whenever the battery has not been discharged for 24 hours. In storage mode, the float voltage is reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is brought back to absorption level to "equalize" the battery. This feature prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, a major cause of early battery failure.

Chalso supports Li-ion batteries

Li-ion batteries are charged with a simple mass – absorption – float algorithm.

Recovery function completely discharged battery

Will initiate charging even if the battery has been discharged to zero volts. Will connect to a completely discharged Li-ion battery with internal disconnect function.

NIGHT and LOW setting

In NIGHT or LOW mode, the current output is reduced to the maximum. 50% of rated power and the charger will be completely silent. NIGHT mode ends automatically after 8 hours. LOW mode can be manually interrupted.

Overheat protected

Output current will decrease as temperature increases up to 50°C , but the Blue Smart Charger will not fail.

Eleven LEDs for status indication

Charging algorithm: TEST / BULK / ABSORPTION / RECONDITION / FLOAT / STORAGE / LOAN. MODE button to set: NORMAL (14.4V) / HIGH (14.7V) / RECONDITION / LI-ION.
