RailMount NavPods are best used for mounting an autopilot controller, navigation instrument, or small chartplotter to an existing cradle guard . Fits on any 1? or 1.25? diameter tube. A chrome-plated stainless steel arm is used to mount a NavPod. The NavPod can rotate 180 degrees for easy viewing when sitting under the vehicle on a rainy day. All cables run from the NavPod down the center of the stainless steel arm and into the cradle guard. This application allows for a clean, robust installation for electronics, without replacing the base guard.
