OEM Specified. Permatex Ultra silicones have been developed to respond to current technological developments. Safe for sensors, low odor, non-corrosive. Exceptional oil resistance and tolerance to joint movement. Eight times more flexible than cork/composite seals; three times more oil resistant than conventional silicones. Temperature range -65°F to 500°F (-54°C to 260°C) intermittent; resists automotive and workshop fluids and vibrations.

Applications:

Automotive - Suggested Applications: Valve Covers, Oil Pans, Automatic Transmission Housings, End Gaskets intake manifold, timing covers, water pumps, thermostat housings
Heavy Duty - Suggested Applications: Cover Housing Gasket, Differential,assembly on rear axle housing, power dividers, axle shaft flanges

Instructions:

Surfaces must be clean and dry. Apply a continuous, uniform 1/16" to 1/4" bead of silicone surrounding all bolt holes. 1/8" is suitable for most applications. Bead size may vary depending on finger pressure, how quickly the applicator is moved, and angle. For heavier beads, the nozzle may be cut to size. Activate PowerBead™ by turning the nozzle one full turn counterclockwise, lifting the trigger. Press the trigger to dispense. Assemble the parts immediately while the silicone is still on. The silicone will fully cure in 24 hours. After use, store the applicator by rotating the nozzle clockwise, wiping off excess silicone and replacing the cap.n plastic with a "click".

NOTE: Not recommended for use on head gaskets or parts in contact with gasoline.
