Boaters can now add an exclusive full display as another station on the vessel with two COMMANDMICS™. Customers will appreciate the radio's large, bright display that includes night mode for easy viewing in the dark. The complete M605 also offers customers the option of opting for a radio with an integrated AIS receiver. The best just got better. The M605 offers the user the flexibility to configure their radio system on their boat. Remotely control up to three controllers using all the functions of the M605 with the HM-195 Series COMMANDMIC™ and/or RC-M600 Control Head. Either option can also be used as an intercom between the radio and the unit.

All functions of the IC-M605 (including DSC and distress operation) can be remotely controlled with up to three controllers, RC-M600 COMMAND HEAD and/or COMMANDMIC™ HM-195 series, with an intercom function available between the main radio and the controllers. The system allows for maximum operation, providing flexibility anywhere on your boat.

A combination of the directional keypad and programmable keys allows for simple operation. The most used functions are assigned to soft keys (at the bottom of the screen) for quick access to functions with a single touch. The large ten-key keypad allows you to easily enter channel numbers, MMSI numbers with ID names, etc.

The internal speaker of the IC-M605 improves intelligibility calls received. The speaker coneWaterproof paper provides superior sound quality with a wide frequency range and flat frequency response for powerful but clear sound.

A weak signal adjacent to a strong signal can be clearly received by the integrated circuit. -M605. Its commercial-grade receiver performance (selectivity and IMD: over 80 dB) enables reliable communication at all times.

GNSS receiver (GPS, GLONASS and SBAS) is integrated into the IC-M605 . Position information can be simply received by connecting to the supplied GNSS antenna with 5m cable, UX-241.

Active noise cancellation digitally removes background noise from the audio transmitting and receiving and provides clear communication in a noisy maritime environment.

When connected to the optional horn-mounted speaker, the SP-37, you can speak with crews on the deck or shore from the radio microphone and hear any response via the horn speaker. Also available is the RX Megaphone feature and four automatic foghorn patterns.

Last Call Voice Recording feature automatically records up to two minutes of an incoming call. Don't miss any incoming messages.

With NMEA 2000™ connectivity, the radio can exchange GNSS data, AIS reports, DSC call information data, radio frequencies and call data. PGN list on the network. NMEA 0183/-HS GNSS position data can also be converted to NMEA 2000™ data for other equipment.

With an optional voice scrambling unit, UT-112, the IC-M605 offers secure 32-tone conversation. This function is useful when you want to share private information with consort vessels.

With a built-in AIS receiver, the IC-M605 can display real-time AIS vessel traffic information on the screen. The AIS v combined screenIt allows monitoring of the AIS plotter during basic operations. You can call a selected AIS target directly from the AIS screen using an individual DSC call.
