A combination of the directional keypad and programmable keys allows for simple operation. The most used functions are assigned to soft keys (at the bottom of the screen) for quick access to functions with a single touch. The internal speaker of the IC-M605 improves intelligibility calls received. The waterproof paper speaker cone provides superior sound quality with a wide frequency range and flat frequency response for powerful but clear sound.
A weak signal adjacent to a strong signal can be clairely received by the integrated circuit. -M605. Its commercial-grade receiver performance (selectivity and IMD: over 80 dB) enables reliable communication at all times.
GNSS receiver (GPS, GLONASS and SBAS) is integrated into the IC-M605 . Position information can be simply received with connection to the supplied GNSS antenna with a 5m cable, UX-241.
Active noise cancellation digitally removes background noise from the transmitting audio and reception and provides clear communication in a noisy maritime environment. When connected to the optional horn speaker, SP-37, you can speak with crews on deck or ashore from the radio microphone and hear any response through the horn speaker. Also available is the RX Megaphone feature and four automatic fog horn patterns.
Last Call Voice Recording feature automatically records up to'two minutes from an incoming call. Don't miss any incoming messages.
With NMEA 2000™ connectivity, the radio can exchange GNSS data, AIS reports, DSC call information data, radio frequencies and call data. PGN list on the network. NMEA 0183/-HS GNSS position data can also be converted to NMEA 2000™ data for other equipment.
With an optional voice scrambling unit, UT-112, the IC-M605 offers secure 32-tone conversation.ion. This feature is useful when you want to share private information with fellow ships.
