RailMount NavPods are best used for mounting an autopilot control, a navigation instrument, or a small chart plotter on an existing protective mount. Fits any 1" or 1.25" diameter tube. A chrome nickel plated stainless steel arm is used to mount a NavPod. The NavPod can rotate 180 degrees for easy viewing when sitting under the vehicle on a rainy day. All wiring runs from the NavPod down the center of the stainless steel arm and into the base shield. This application provides a clean, sturdy installation for electronics, without replacing the base guard.

We use all 316 stainless steel hardware that comes with every NavPod. Large round head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for better holding power when tightening than the screws used on our traditional series NavPod. For the NavPod Gen3 we provide tamper proof nickel plated chrome stainless steel screws for added security combined with a little bling!
