This SystemPod for the The power supply can be mounted on the panele board using the SK135. Post kit, or mounted high using the SK129 post kit.

Structural rigidity

Gen3 enhancements now include an acrylic cap thicker gauge.Improved ABS material that improves strength and provides better structural rigidity. This thicker material allows for greater sealing. The higher the structural rigidity, the less flex there is when tightening and the more uniform the pressure on the joint. The excellent UV stability of acrylic is combined with the durability of ABS. The acrylic cap protects the ABS from UV and its potentially damaging effects on plastic.

Waterproof seal

All SystemPods are made with a double seal system offering excellent sealing. This seal offers the best protection for your marine electronics. SystemPods are designed to withstand off-boat conditionsmost difficult wet shores. Gen3 improvements include a thicker silicone outer gasket with an improved flush fit. The Poran Microcell Polyurathane internal seal is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "defined compression" like many rubber compounds. This is important when you need to open the SystemPod in the future to repair your electronic devices. The seal will continue to do its job.

Chrome Nickel Plated Stainless Steel

We use all 316 stainless steel hardware that comes with every NavPod. Large round head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for better holding power when tightening than the screws used on our traditional series NavPod. For NavPods Gen3, we provide tamper-proof nickel-chrome-plated stainless steel screws for added security and a bit of style!
