Structural rigidity
Gen3 improvements now include a mABS material coated with thicker gauge acrylic which improves strength and provides better structural rigidity. The Poran Microcell Polyurathane internal seal is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "compression" like many rubber compounds. This is important when you need to open the NavPod in the future to repair your electronic devices. The seal will continue to do its job.

Chrome Nickel Plated Stainless Steel
We use all 316 stainless steel hardware that comes with every NavPod. Large round head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for better holding power when tightening than the screws used on our traditional series NavPod. For the NavPod Gen3 we provide tamper proof nickel plated chrome stainless steel screws for added security combined with a little bling!
