Structural Rigidity – Gen3 improvements now include thicker support. ABS material coated with gaugel acrylic which improves strength and provides better structural rigidity. The internal Poron Microcell polyurethane gasket is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "set compression" like many rubber compounds. This is important when you need to open the SailPod in the future in order to repair your electronic devices. The seal will continue to do its job.

Chrome Nickel Plated Stainless Steel – We use all 316 stainless steel hardware provided with each NavPod. Large round head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for better holding power when tightening than the screws used on our traditional series NavPod. Tamper-proof nickel-chrome-plated stainless steel screws provide security combined with a little style!
