It is best to mount a SailPod on a single bend AngleGuard or on the angled section of a double bend Angle Guardurbure with an InstrumentPod mounted above on the right section.

Structural Rigidity – Gen3 improvements now include a thicker bracket. acrylic cap gaugeABS material that improves strength and provides better structural rigidity. This thicker material allows for greater sealing. The higher the structural rigidity, the less flex there is when tightening and the more uniform the pressure on the joint. The excellent UV stability of acrylic is combined with the durability of ABS. The acrylic cap protects the ABS from UV and its potentially damaging effects on plastic.

Waterproof Seal – All SailPods are manufactured with a double seal system providing an excellent seal. This seal provides the best protection for your marine electronics.
